Welcome to the fourth Old Town BID Bulletin #4.
This edition marks an important milestone in the development of a potential Business Improvement District (BID) for Edinburgh's Old Town, with the launch of our business survey.
Whether you're supportive, undecided or have concerns, your feedback is important and does not commit you in any way. The survey findings will shape the priorities and projects included in the draft Business Plan later this year.
Your views are essential in helping us understand the challenges and opportunities facing businesses and will directly inform the draft Business Plan.

Latest Progress
Since our last bulletin:·
Development funding has been secured from Scottish Towns Partnership and the City of Edinburgh Council. ·
Steering Group minutes are now available on the Old Town website to improve transparency and keep businesses updated.
What's Next?During August and September we will continue to:·
Meet with businesses across the proposed BID area·
Gather feedback through the survey and one-to-one discussions·
Review the feedback received to identify the priorities that matter most to businesses·
Begin preparing the draft Business Plan and supporting BID Proposal documents
The draft Business Plan will then be shared with businesses by Christmas and before any formal ballot takes place in March.
